Melinda S. Huff (Of Counsel) was born March 29, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Melinda was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1984. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in 1976. Melinda went on to pursue her Master of Science degree at North Texas State University, where she graduated with honors in Economics in 1978. Melinda earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1983. Her areas of expertise include transportation law, premises liability, insurance bad faith, employer's liability, non-subscriber and general negligence, worker's compensation, and DTPA. She obtained her Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1998. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the Supreme Court for the State of Texas. Melinda is a member of the American and State Bar Associations, as well as the Texas and Dallas Associations of Defense Counsel.
